A few days ago, my father bought me salak fruit(snake fruit) from a night market. While i was studying in college in Penang,i was used to eat it there. Well, 'Salak' can be defined as "bark", as in bark of the tree. This is due to it's tough protecting covering brown colour. The 'cover" is scaly and similar to snake's skin. Besides, it is a native fruit in Indonesia and Malaysia.
